In-flight Entertainment
Melon developed a customised, white-label solution for EasyJet that seamlessly integrated service and content delivery through an accessible user interface, catering to a wide audience. The solution encompassed in-flight entertainment, food, shopping, and travel guides.
Livestock Tracker
Melon, in collaboration with Newline ASP, designed an auction app that utilises a variety of technologies, languages, and frameworks for different system components. The responsive design allows the app to function seamlessly across diverse devices, facilitating an online timed auction, a real-time live video auction, and an integrated customer relationship management (CRM) database.
Energy Awareness
Melon was delighted to be selected for the challenge of redeveloping the user interfaces and content displayed on the wall-mounted touchscreen displays (EDUs) in all Tesco staff areas. This project built upon a strategic monitoring and maintenance partnership between Melon and IMS Evolve, which delivers invaluable data, automation, and control over Tesco's entire machine network across their store network.
Marshall Amplification Custom Shop
Marshall Amplification is a world leader in the design and manufacture of amplifiers. With a string of fans, which reads like a who’s who of rock and roll legends. Melon worked with closely with Marshall Amplification, who are based in Milton Keynes, to fully understand the product range and customisation options, before setting about developing the Marshall Custom Shop. With a full understanding we proposed, designed and developed a scalable web design system which could be used by the network of dealerships.
Traveller Social Media
Melon built a mobile app called MileHi, aimed to connect frequent business travelers. The app scans ICAO and IATA data, allowing users to enter their flight details and message other passengers on the same flight. Users can also view who is travelling on the same flight number the day before or after their own trip, using a "left and right swipe" feature. The app's private messaging capabilities enable users to arrange in-person meetings in the airport lounge and coordinate seating together on the flight, allowing them to continue discussions and get a head start on the competition upon arrival at their destination.
